March 2, 1937: "Rueben L. Boone, assistant supervisor of the Prescott national forest, left this morning for the Camp Wood country to plan the route for a telephone line to the site of a fire lookout which will be built soon. The lookout will fill a needed gap in the forest service's fire control system." (Prescott Evening Courier)
